Prenatal Visits
Thoughtful, Personalized Support Before Baby Arrives
Prenatal visits are where we build the foundation for your birth and postpartum experience together. These visits are designed to help you feel informed, supported, prepared, and cared for as you navigate pregnancy, birth planning, and the transition into parenthood.
This is not a rushed checklist or one-size-fits-all approach. Every family’s needs, questions, experiences, and goals are different. Prenatal support is tailored to you, your values, your concerns, and the kind of support you are hoping to receive throughout this journey.
A doula is a trained support professional who provides emotional support, education, advocacy, comfort measures, and practical guidance during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Doulas do not replace medical providers. Instead, they work alongside your care team to help you feel more informed, supported, and confident throughout the experience. Research shows doula support can help families feel safer, more satisfied with their birth experience, and more prepared for the transition into parenthood.

Birth Support
Birth changes more than a single day. It changes relationships, identity, routines, emotions, and the way people move through the world. Dr. Jodi’s work is rooted in helping families feel supported not only during labor, but throughout the ongoing journey of becoming.
You do not have to navigate it alone.

Interested in Virtual Doula Support?
Not everyone wants or needs a doula physically in the room, but most people do want someone knowledgeable to talk things through. Doula On-Demand bridges that gap by offering steady, accessible support that meets you where you are, without requiring full on-call care or in-person visits.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Jodi was extremely hands-on and supportive at my birth and I could not have gone all natural without her.
I had a great experience with Dr. Jodi. I found her late in my pregnancy, so I was a little worried, but she made me feel supported right away. Besides her knowledge, what I appreciated the most was the energy she brought into the room and the confidence she gave me. She made me feel calm and safe throughout the process. I’m really grateful I found her and i couldn't asked for a better birth experience

WHAT CLIENTS SAY
"April was so incredibly supportive from the very start of my journey helping me with figuring out some issues I was dealing with in pregnancy"
With some dietary advice, bodywork to get baby to turn, and being there for me during a week of prodromal labor. She came TO my house and helped me to relax after some long days of prodromal labor. I felt heard and supported and she gave me very practical advice to leaning into the contractions. When it was finally time to get to the hospital, she was there with me through it all, and I truly felt like I had the best team beside me, to get me through every last contraction for the most beautiful birth, that was the redeeming experience I prayed for. 🤍

WHAT CLIENTS SAY
"Jodi at BWS Doulas was so helpful and I was so thankful to have her as my doula for the birth of my first child this past November! "
She is extremely knowledgeable on all things pregnancy, birth, how the hospital works, etc. I felt much more confident going into labor knowing I had her on my side. She helped my husband also, in showing him some techniques he could do to help me with the pain of contractions. Jodi is so sweet and kind and has a presence that makes you feel calm during labor. She also stopped by a few weeks after I had my son to check in and helped with some lactation tips. I would definitely recommend Jodi at BWS Doulas to anyone who wants a knowledgeable experienced doula! She has so many resources and connections as well for all things pregnancy prep, lactation support, postpartum support, etc.
